Ensar Melik Group was founded in Keçiören in 1995 and has grown into a well-established group of companies with over 30 years of experience across construction, driver training, driver aptitude testing, building inspection, and legal consulting in Ankara.
Our construction division has delivered quality homes and commercial developments throughout Ankara — including build-on-your-land partnerships and urban renewal projects — giving hundreds of families exceptional living standards. Our education division operates 9 training institutions across Ankara, covering all driver's license categories plus ADR, SRC, and heavy machinery operator certifications; our in-house assessment center provides driver fitness evaluations.
Our current flagship project, Lavinya Park (Keçiören Ovacık, 2024–2026), is the finest expression of our modern approach to residential development — where engineering precision meets design elegance.
Mahmut Burkankulu
Mahmut Burkankulu was born on April 23, 1965, in Bingöl. He learned the basics of trade at his father's side from an early age. By 1977, at just twelve, he was already buying and reselling staples — sugar, oil, and flour — from out-of-town factories, and had opened his own bank account.
He completed his primary and secondary schooling in Bingöl and his high school years in Ankara. He graduated from Anadolu University with a degree in Business Administration, fulfilled his military service at İzmir Military Hospital in 1986, and launched his first business in Ankara in 1987 — entering the construction materials sector.
From 1991, he moved into construction contracting and subcontracting, completing his first independent residential project in 1995. He incorporated the family business in 1997 and entered driver training in 2007. Between 2010 and 2020, he ran and held partnerships in several private tutoring centers. He expanded into healthcare in 2017 and today serves as Chairman of the family holding company, operating across construction, education, healthcare, and law.
Active in industry associations, he served as President of the Ankara Driver Training Schools Association (2013–2016) and Vice President of the Central Anatolia Driver Training Schools Federation (2013–2017). Since 2012, he has sat on the Board of Directors of the Turkish Driver Training Schools Confederation. He also serves as Vice President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. He is married with two children — one a lawyer, the other a civil engineer.
Started wholesaling sugar, oil, and flour alongside his father — learning the ropes of commerce at just 12.
Manufactured and wholesaled tel kadayıf and burma kadayıf (traditional Turkish pastries) — honing his entrepreneurial instincts.
Completed military service at İzmir Military Hospital.
Launched his first Ankara business — trading construction materials.
Moved into construction contracting and subcontracting. Delivered his first independent residential project in 1995.
Incorporated the family business into a corporate structure and took on the role of Chairman.
Entered driver training, growing to 10 institutions across Ankara. Took on leadership roles in industry associations.
Ran private tutoring centers — first Hedef %100 and Geçiş Dergisi, then partnerships in Final's Bağlum and Kafkaslar branches.
Still serves as a Board Member of the Turkish Driver Training Schools Confederation, representing the industry at a national level.
Expanded into healthcare. Now leads growth across four sectors: construction, education, healthcare, and law. Vice President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.
